Hello STRONG friend!
Happy Friday. Can you believe Christmas is two days away, and we are less than two weeks out from 2023?
Time sure does fly.
Anywho, about that gift that keeps on giving.
Muscle is the
gift that keeps on giving!!💪🏾💃🏾🙌🏾
It's the best anti-aging accessory that money can't buy!
Are you doing something to build or preserve
it?
If you're not, you should. I don't should about a lot of things, but this is one of them.
As we age, we will lose it, if we aren't doing something about
it. After the age of 30, muscle mass starts to decline at a rate of 3-8% per decade. 🤯
Muscle is very expensive tissue. It's precious.
We can counteract
losing it by lifting the things! Strength training is the antidote!
So we know that strength training... lifting the heavy things is a must. Right?!
Eating
enough high-quality protein is essential. Protein repairs and builds our muscles and helps our recovery from training.
I wish that more women understood this!
Then most women would take a muscle-minded approach regarding their health. Perhaps they don't realize how precious it is.
Muscle mass is a positive benefit to health, longevity, and life.
Well, let me tell you a thing or two about your precious muscle mass.
- It's an organ of longevity.
- It's the foundation of our metabolism.
- It's body armor.
- It helps manages carbohydrates and fat. Muscle mass allows us effectively use what we eat.
- You'll have a stronger immune system.
- Prevents osteoporosis and bone decay!
- The more muscle you have, the less body fat you'll have.
- Helps with fighting heart disease and Type 2 Diabetes.
- Muscle mass has also been shown to help with improving our mental health.
- Quality of life.
Just to name a few!
I'll say it once, and I'll say it again you can't go wrong with getting STRONG. It's never too late to start, and you're not too old!
Even in our "older" ages, we can add muscle mass.
So, give yourself the gift of muscle if you aren't already!
Thanks for reading, STRONG
friend!
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas weekend.
