STRONG friend, Happy July! Lol, I know we are 4 days in. I blinked, and the month is over. Here we are, and it’s July 4th!

Poppin in with the June wrap-up!

I hope June was good to you! What were your wins from June?

My number one win was completing an 18-mile hike at Grand Canyon. Jeff and I hiked the Bright Angel trail! It was epic!! I felt super accomplished and also proud of my training for it.

1 -  Lower Body Mobility Warm-up!

This one has been my favorite for a minute now. It covers the lower and upper body. It’s quick, and you can do it right at the squat rack. The Kang Squat itself will warm up you up nicely.

I roll through this warm-up three times and feel ready to hit it!

So give it a try and keep it in your warm-up rotation!

Lol, you guessed it, EAT!

3 - Bananas are friends! 

No one on God’s green earth ever got fat from eating bananas or any other fruit. Lol, it’s Bananas!

- Bananas are an excellent source of potassium!⁣
- Bananas have Vitamin B6.⁣
- Bananas have fiber, too… fiber aids in digestion, help you feel fuller longer, and aid in regulating your blood sugar.⁣
- Bananas are an excellent pre and post-workout snack!⁣

Furthermore, eating a surplus of calories will make you gain fat, not bananas or other carb sources!⁣ 🙅🏾‍♀️⁣

4 - A love note on Muscle Loss!

Lol, it’s a crime! It really is! Women don’t need to worry about gaining too much. Fear Muscle Loss!

Muscle is so hard to come by.⁣ It’s expensive, so make sure you keep whatcha got and build some more for the future!!⁣

Don’t be afraid to lift, STRONG friend!! It pays back in dividends!⁣

5 - Guilt, stress, fear, or shame should NEVER EVER be associated with food!⁣

It’s 2023; we should know by now that carbs are not the enemy, or any food for that matter.

If you want a healthy relationship with food and your body, you’ll have to ditch the good and bad food labels.
