Forget about that time you were thinner, fitter, or without injury.
In order to progress, you must first make peace with your present body.
Get to know your body like you’re learning about a new friend.
Let your training exploit its strengths and nurture its weaknesses.
Your body is not hopeless, nor is it falling apart; it is simply asking you to train and care for it from a position of love and respect.
Respect the ONE and only body you’ll ever have, and it will run to the ends of the Earth for you! 🤍
Treat your body right, and it will treat you right!
I know for a fact that if you give yourself some grace through the process, you’ll have a much better time reaching any health goal that you may have.
Whether that’s simply improving your
nutrition, losing body fat, improving your lifts, establishing a consistent routine, or what have you.
When you operate from a place of Grace, the journey is so much sweeter and sustainable!
You can’t beat yourself into submission or hate your way to your goal(s). That rarely works;
it might be for the short term, but not for the long haul!
I can tell you from experience that beating yourself up never lasts long.
So, STRONG friend, treat you and your body right, and it really will run to the end of the Earth for you!
Be your body’s best friend. Be its ally and treat yourself well!
Don’t put it through the wringer with extremes.
Those things are short-lived, and they rob you of your joy, STRONG friend.
