It's 5K's for me! That's it, lol, before you ask. I haven't given any thought to anything longer, nor do I want to. I like the quickness of 5 K's, short and sweet. After all, I missed my calling to be a sprinter. Sprinting is my ultimate jam!
Last but
not least, I'm back on my quads! 🛼 Rollerskating is another hobby that I love. I'm a little rusty because I didn't find a suitable rink when I was in Utah for the winter. But that's okay; like everything else in life, it takes time, patience, and consistency to get better at doing new skills, habits, hobbies, etc!!
Speaking
of hobbies and things... I can't express it enough: if you aren't already, find an activity outside of the gym that brings you joy.
You'll be glad you did! Having other hobbies besides lifting/working out will help you with the “boring” aspect of sticking to a structured, repetitive lifting program.
Let your lifting be your lifting! Lean in into the “boring” so that you get the results and find your entertainment outside of the gym.
And one last life update...
I invested in a walking pad! I found one that works great in my limited RV space! It is a game-changer for
getting movement throughout the day.
If you've been thinking about it, go for it. It's worth every penny! If you work at a desk, work from home, or generally don't get to move as much as you like for whatever reason, get one!! You won't be disappointed.
I compiled a list of walking pads on my Amazon
storefront that have pretty good reviews or ones that have come highly recommended. Check em out here!
If you purchase from my Amazon storefront, thank you so much!.
Well, let's get into this recap! Here are the top MVPs (Most Valuable Posts) of the
month!
1) Here are four Ways to check if you are lifting heavy enough in the gym so that the tone be toning!
