Happiest Monday to you, STRONG friend!
I have a short-ish and sweet message today. I know you probably always hear it's never too late, and you are never too old, but it is SO true!
You're also...
- never too out of shape
- never too late to make a different choice
- you're never too far gone
- never too late to the game
- never too late to get your groove back 😝
- never too late to build muscle and get
strong
- never too late to stop yo-yo dieting year after year
- not too old to do quality push-ups or pull-ups
Insert whatever too thing/goal/accomplishment, etc...
that you think you are. It's not a fact. It's a narrative that's holding you back, STRONG friend.
You can change anything to accomplish anything that you want! The sky is really the limit!
All you have to do is get started. Tell those little negative voices
to shut their pieholes! 😝
Here are some of my client wins related to today's "It's never too late for or to do {insert the thing}!"
One of my clients shared with me her weekly win that she has never felt better. She is living her best
life.
In the last six months, she has gotten in the best shape of her life with minimal restrictions and sustainable habit change. She has lost double-digit weight and inches, built muscle, and improved her fitness.
When we started working together, she said she never thought
she would achieve her goals this way. Like many women, she comes from a background of yo-yo dieting, losing the same 30-50 lbs over and over with very restrictive diets —most of the very popular ones with names.
Anywho, it's never too late to start your health journey right, and it's never too late to stop doing crazy diets!
Another client who has lost double-digit weight thought they would never be able to include foods that they love and still lose body fat. They are crushing it while having a meal or two out a week.
Another client, who is 66, just started lifting heavy things a few months ago. They are thriving and loving strength training so much. Lol, I have to make them take rest days (non-lifting days).
They love the results they have gotten so far - fewer aches and
pains and tighter arms - she wanted to tighten up her bat wings - that's what she calls them.😝 The grandkids miss them! Too funny! You can see the tone when she flexes, and the skin isn’t as loose! Plus, her bone density score has improved dramatically!
See, again, it's never too late!
Anywho, I hope this message resonated with you! I mean it with every ounce of my heart - lol, is a saying. I always mess them up!😝
Love you, STRONG friend. I hope you have an amazing week!
In Strength & to your
success
One Love,
Coach Candace
