Hey, hey ! Happy November!

For me, it was a busy, but fun month. This was the first month that felt steady. It didn't feel like it flew by. 

I went to biz conference in Redondo Beach, CA . It was really great being in the room with other Fitness Pros learning and connecting with each other.

Had a Halloween slash, going away, pool party! Jeff and I our about to head North for the Holidays. It was so much fun. All the food and boards turned out so well. Jeff got another stab at perfecting his brisket cooking (3rd time smoking one). It was pretty good, not much was left by the end of the night.

Client's are crushing! Everyone is doing really well... very consistent. One of my clients wins this month was hiking a few trails at Acadi National Trail. We got her ready for Precipice Loop Trail and she crushed it! This wasn't a hike she could have done a year ago.

Wins for me is hitting these ball pull-ups - the handles are are ball shaped. 😮‍💨🔥  And let me tell you, they are very berry hard to grip. I am determined to hit 5 consistently and then eventually hititn 10 reps. Baby steps! Currently I am hitting 4 reps, 3, and then 2 reps. I'm also incorporating eccentric only ball pull-ups, active and concentric hangs!

Anywho let's get into get into the MVPs (Most Valuable Posts) of the month.

3 - Trying to get away with really low calories?

It will ALWAYS backfire!

The goal is never to eat as little as possible. The goal is to eat as much as possible in a moderate deficit while losing body fat - the right kind of weight!⁣

Remember, if the way you lose weight is unsustainable, the results will be unsustainable!⁣

4 - Maturing in he gym is realizing that the body you want will take YEARS to build...

Not 12-16 weeks, YEARS. Muscle build ins a LONG, slow process. It takes time, time training properly with a structured lifting program, time not pursing fat loss, time spent in maintenance, a butt load of patience and consistency! 

5 - Embracing maintenance!

I am discussing the importance of embracing the season of maintenance, putting in the work with weights, and training w,,,,,,ith intention to achieve the desired toned look.
