Do we really need more tips, tricks, or hacks? Now, we may need strategies, support, guidance, and maybe even reassurance to get going in the direction that we need to go.
The truth is that most people don't need any more tips, tricks, or things. What we need is action and application. We need more time doing the things and consistency with the things that
we know we need to do.
It's that time of year when we are bombarded with gimmicks, quick fixes, detoxes, biggest loser challenges, etc. These rarely last, and you definitely can't maintain the results for the long haul.
STRONG friend, let's skip all that noise and focus on the BASICS—the BIG Rocks, not the pebbles.
You have all the tips, all the tricks, and the hacks. Am I right, or am I right? Did those tips, tricks, and hacks get you the desired results?
Maybe they did. Did they last? You tell me!
Now, the BASICS will transform you more than you probably even realize! With consistent implementation, you'll hack your way to your goals without the quackery! 😝
The basics are the real HACK!
The Basics:
- Eat a variety of fibrous food sources. Aim for 25-30 grams of fiber per day!
- Eat enough protein - at least 0.7 grams per lb of body
weight.
- Eat enough food.
- Lift the heavy things at least 2x a week!
- Drink enough water - use your urine to determine whether you are drinking enough.
- MOVE - at least 7K steps a day!
- Get good sleep - at least 7-8 hours a night!
- Cook more of your meals at home.
- Practice good stress management
- Surround yourself with people who lift you up and support you.
