Â
Hey, STRONG friend! Happy Fri-yay!!
Â
If you’re only celebrating the BIG goals, you’re missing a whole lot of wins.
Â
Here’s what I want you to know:
Â
Small wins = progress too!!
Â
✨ They build momentum.
✨ They build confidence.
✨ They keep you moving forward.
Â
The
problem? Most women brush them off like they don’t matter. Big goals can trip you up if you’re not hitting smaller ones along the way. Break them down. Make them doable.
Â
But those “little” wins are the real MVPs!!
Â
- Two walks this week when you did zero last week? That's a win.Â
- Lost a ½ lb! That’s a win and STRONG friend, that’s 26 pounds in a year.
- Did you drink your water today?
WIN.
- Did you go to the gym even when you didn’t feel like it? That’s a win! Got two lifts this week? HUGE WIN.
- Hit your protein goal? WINNING!
- Didn’t quit this week? Victory, sis.
Â
Most women set huge fat loss goals, and when they fall short, they give up.Â
Â
20–30 pounds in a short window? That’s not realistic, sis. Break it down into chunks. Know that you won’t lose all the
weight/fat in one fat-loss phase.
Â
For example…
Â
One of my amazing clients has lost almost 100 lbs over two years without extremes. And, yes, we lost that much weight in several fat-loss phases with diet breaks and maintenance phases—CHUNKED down into phases!
Â
And while we are talking about the scale, it is just one measure of progress! Don’t ignore better sleep, more strength, looser jeans, or stronger
habits.
Â
So, small wins along the way are the building blocks to every goal you say you want.
Â
Big wins come from stacking small ones!
Â
So, no more skippin' the celebration. Clap for yourself! Every step, every habit, every meal, every lift, every win counts.
Â
You don’t need to “deserve” to celebrate. We celebrate all
the wins no matter how small! Stop brushing off your efforts like they don’t count. They DO, STRONG friend!
Â
So yes, shoot for the moon! Just map your launch with steps that don’t burn you out along the way. CELEBRATE ALL THE WINS EVERY STEP OF THE WAY.
Â
Last but not least, be sure to celebrate more than weight-based wins along your fat/weight loss journey because scale weight isn't the only
way to measure progress! We call these Non-Scale Victories. Here's a list to help:
- Adding weight to the bar
- Squatting deeper with better technique
- Sleeping better
- Feeling more confident and happy
- Positive changes to your lifestyle
- Good digestion
- Gaining muscle
- Feeling calm throughout the day
- Have the energy to play with your kids or grandkids
- Ran a 5K
- Run upstairs without getting
tired
- Feel and look different in your clothes
- Better muscle definition
- Reduced knee or back pain
- Got your first pull-up or push-up
Â
Just to name a few!
Â
Now. what’s ONE win you’re claiming today? Hit reply and tell me. I’d love to hear it. 🩷
Â
Have a fabulous weekend!
Â
Love you, mean it!
