Hey, STRONG friend!! Merry Christmas Eve-eve!
Let's get into it...
Ten percent of a year is about 36 days.
One holiday is one day. Even if you have multiple holiday parties this season. I have six, by the way.
That meal is not the variable.
It is never the holiday meal.
It is never one meal, one day, or even a weekend that defines your
results.
It is the other 329 days that matter.
It is what you do most of the time throughout the year…
- The weeks you trained and ate with intention.
- The days you ate enough protein.
- The walks you took, even when you did not feel like it.
- The nights you slept instead of scrolling.
- The months you stopped chasing extremes.
That is consistency.That is what actually
counts.
It is also the patterns that sneak in quietly…
- Turning the time between holiday meals into a free-for-all.
- Letting indulgence carry on for weeks and months.
- Skipping meals.
- Under-eating all week.
- Overdoing cardio to earn food.
- Lifting without progression.
- Dieting hard, burning out, then repeating the cycle.
That is what moves the
needle!
Not a few holiday dinners.
Not some desserts across the season.
Not a celebration meal or two.
If a few off meals could erase progress, progress would not be real.
Here is the part I really want you to hear.
One day, or even a few meals of overindulging, does not mean you failed.
It does not mean you fell off the wagon.
And it definitely does not mean you need to start
over.
Holidays should be part of your track!!
Strong bodies are built in the boring middle.
In routines.
In habits.
In showing up again and again, season after season, year after year.
So, STRONG friend…
Enjoy the holiday with your loved ones.
Enjoy the food without shame or guilt.
Be fully present.
Then the
next day, you go back to your everyday routine!
No guilt.
No compensation.
No punishment.
No starting over.
Just continuation!!
Again, a few holiday meals will not undo a year of consistency! Remember that! You are allowed to enjoy the holidays without a side of guilt, shame, or punishment!
That is how this works! And that is how strong women do this for life!

P.S. In fact I'm going to Texas De Brazil tomorrow evening. I am going to enjoy the meats, lol, the salad bar, and dessert with zero guilt! It's one meal out of 90 in a month! It won't affect my progress at all!
