I hope you rang in the New Year feeling good, rested, and hopeful. Or at least a little bit hopeful. That counts too!!

This time of year always brings a lot of noise around health and fitness. New plans. New rules. New promises to finally get it right.

And here’s the
tea...

Most people are not failing because they lack motivation. They are failing because they keep choosing short-term fixes that were never built to last.
Â
If you are thinking about your health this year, I want you to hear this clearly.

- You do not need to punish your body to make progress.
- You do not need to diet harder.
- You do not need to start over every January.

What actually works is
"boring" in the best way. The boring basics you always hear me shouting from the rooftops! Boring basics are sustainable!!

- Consistent strength training with proper programming, intensity, and progressive overload!
- Eating enough to support your body, no matter the phase.
- Enough protein
- Eat your fruits and veggies
- Steps
- Drinking water
- Honoring your sleep
- Manage your stress
- Simple habits you can repeat when life
gets busy.

That is what I coach. That is what I believe in. And that is what gets results that stick.
