STRONG friend, happy Friday! I hope the first week of the year has gone well for you!
It has been a hot minute since I’ve done a Five Fitness Friday Favorites.
If you are new here, this is a simple roundup of fitness, nutrition, foodie, or lifestyle things I use, love, or have tried
and want to share with you.
So let’s get into it.
If you know me, you know I love walking. I do a lot of it. I walk in the cold, the snow, the rain, the Florida heat. All of it.
For the holidays, I was in Michigan. It was cold and snowy most of the time. A real winter. We even had snow on the ground when we arrived, which has been
unusual over the last few years.
I thought I was getting a white Christmas. Then Michigan did Michigan things. We had single-digit temps one week and forties and almost fifties the next. Cray!
Anyway, I wanted to share my cold-weather walking essentials.
So many women stop walking when it’s too cold, too windy, or too
uncomfortable.
It does not have to be that way!
Yes, it’s easier when the weather is perfect. But the weather is always going to do what it does. So we adapt!
As a full-time RVer, I’ve walked through winters in Ohio, Michigan, Florida (yes, it can get darn cold in FL during the winter months), and Salt Lake City, just to name a
few. Different climates. Same goal. Keep moving. Movemen is medicine!
Below are a few things that keep my winter walking game STRONG.
