Lemme ask you this, STRONG friend…
When’s the last time you checked what you’ve been telling yourself?
Not your workouts. Not your food. I’m talking about the stuff in your head. Because that right there, that’s what drives everything. Mindset is everything!
You can have the best plan in the world. But if your
self-talk is trash, it’s gonna be hard to stick with anything.
And here’s the deal…
Most of the time, it’s not your schedule. It’s not your genetics. It’s that voice that hits right when you’re getting some momentum...
“I’m behind.”
“I always mess this up.”
“It’s too late for me.”
Yeah, those!
STRONG friend!! You don’t need to be perfect to keep going. You just need to stop letting that negative
voice run the show.
A few things that will help moving forward...
Pay attention to your thinking:
- Just notice them. No need to fix everything right away.
- But catch how often you’re talking down to yourself.
Celebrate your wins:
- Big or small, it ALL counts.
- You showed up? Did you make a better choice? You followed through? That matters.
Stop making one-off days
mean something bigger. Don't catastrophize them! You missed a workout. Cool. It happens. That’s one day, not your whole story. Move on forwards. Do the lift the very next day! Nothing is lost, it really can be that simple!
Remind yourself who you are:
- You’re someone who lifts.
- Someone who shows up.
- Someone who is getting stronger.
You got this!
I want you to start noticing your inner voice.
Start challenging those stories. And when it starts acting up, pause for a second. You don’t have to believe every thought you think.
