Besides, candy is available all year long, right? Not just today. There’s no need to overeat it today. You can have it anytime you want it. There is no shortage. View candy and any treats through an abundance lens, instead of one of scarcity.
All foods should be part of healthy lifestyle. Heck, if you want to enjoy some candy – a piece or two, or even 5, it won’t kill you. Do so without any guilt or the need to make up for it in the gym tomorrow.
Choose the candy that you love, eat it, and move on. The only treats and things that you should not eat are the ones
that you don’t love.

Lastly, if you have been banning your favorite foods or treats for some time now, I know it can be scary to re-introduce because fear of going overboard. The key is exposure and moderation. A few times a week, start to have said treat, a small amount. Start incorporating it in to take the edge off. This also teaches us that we can have said food anytime because it’s always available and not just on holidays.
