Hi
Oooh wee, I love giving gifts. How about you? Christmas is one of my favorite holidays of the year. Food, family, friends, gifts, and all the treats - yum to my tum tum!
I look forward to the hustle and bustle, the travel, visiting with friends and family, and even shopping. Lol, now most of it online, but nevertheless
- it's still shopping, and you can avoid the crowds, Ha!
I have the shortest email for you today filled with some great holiday gifts for the strong gal in mind, for yourself, or for your loved ones! Who can actually go shopping and not buy at least one thing for yourself?!
Before I move on to the
list of Christmas gifts; I've meant to share this for a while now on Social media. Do you know about the website Ebates? It's amazing. You basically get paid to shop, earn cash back. I've been using it for a little over a year now, and I love it. When I shop online, it's a non-negotiable now because you get a percentage back from the store.
Install the Ebates toolbar, and it will pop up with the percentage or cash that you will earn back from the online retailer. Once you purchase, the Ebates reward posts to your account. A win - win!

So here are some of my favorite things that are great gifts for the strong women in mind:
1. Hip Circle - I love my hip circles, I have two! They are a fantastic tool for lower body warm-ups, glute work; I use it to teach my clients how to fire their glutes and work on their squat form!
You won't be
disappointed and will get plenty use out of one. If you are used to using the neoprene mini bands, like these, you'll find that the hip circle is more comfortable and
doesn't roll or move very much.
2. Suspension Trainer or a TRX: Either or works great. I have both; they work the same, I needed a second one for when I was leading Group Personal Trainer Sessions. I've linked to both of them. One is more budget friendly.
The Suspension trainer is great for travel, suitable for small spaces, and it's very versatile. I travel with mine all the time; well permanent now, since I live full time in an RV!
Check out this workout I put
together with my suspension trainer. No gym no problem!
Look at all the exercise you can do with this thing. No stone is unturned.
3. Vitamix: Love, love this thing. Blends so well. No more spending an arm and leg for a great shake, unless you are out and need a quick snack. Well,
you pay the cost up front, but you'll have this mixer forever. They sell them at Costco and Sams Club now, so you will save a bit.
This blender is amazing; you can make any nut butter you want, you can make soup if you don't watch it when you are making a smoothie, you'll cook it. This is how awesome it is, the blades on this thing are no joke!
I've recently purchased the blender cup attachment, make the shake right in the cup. Great gift for someone that already has the blender.
4. OXO Good Grips Salad Chopper and Bowl: Make a BAS (Big Ass Salad) and chop it all up. I love this
bowl; I get as many veggies as I can in it for my salad. Chop it all up, put my favorite toppings, viola, 4-5 servings in one sitting. This is how I get a lot of veggies in on the regular! It's one of my daily non-nutritional negotiables!
5. Lift Like a Girl: I'm currently reading this book, and it embodies my Beauty of Strength mission. Lift the things and my AntiDiet approach to health! Every woman needs to read it!
7. Valslides: These things are so fun, you can take them anywhere. You'll be able to get a really good lower and/or upper body workout
sliding and gliding along the floor.
8. Steel or Glass Water Bottle: Hydroflask is my favorite - Keep your water intake in check by always carrying a water bottle with you everywhere you
go.
If I could, I'd have every color and style, lol!
9. Crossrope Jump Ropes: If you love jumping and love a quality jump rope, check out the Crossrope's. I discovered these ropes earlier this year when I started teaching myself jump rope
tricks.
I always thought a rope was just a rope, heck growing up we grabbed some laundry line rope, you know the one with the wire in it, and it was white. We jumped to our heart's content with those.
I read the reviews for the ropes, and they were all good. I took a chance on the Crossrope jump ropes, and I am so happy that I did. They are really great ropes, the quality,
the make of them, and the handles are second to none - ball bearings in the handles - the way and how the rope spins is important. I love them so much, I ordered different weights to really up my jump rope game.
10. Dumbbells: Train at home or want to build a garage gym, dumbbells are a must. If you don't want to buy several pairs, I suggest looking into Bowflex dumbbells.
or
Either style works great. After using both styles, I would go with the Power Blocks because the feel of them are little less clunky.
One more thing on dumbbells, the perfect time to purchase them new is in the New Year. A lot of stores like Academy Sports, Dicks, etc.. will have dumbbells for 99 cents a pound. That's the lowest I have ever seen them. Another
great place that I have gotten dumbbells has been on Craigslist. Welp, that's my favorite Christmas gift ideas for 2017.
Thank for allowing to me take up space in your inbox. Have a great rest of your week!
Yours in Strength and Health Xo Candace
P.S. Do me a favor and hit reply and tell me what your favorite Christmas movie is of all time - pick just one! It's hard to pick one.
