Your mom, your co-workers, your husband, your friends, etc. don't get it, especially if they aren't making a change themselves.

 

They don't understand; they don't get it. They don't get why you skipped that crusty donut that was sitting in the break room counter because you're saving your indulgences for things that are a Hell YASSSS. They insist that you just eat the donut, and that it won't hurt.

 

Lol, you're right you say, it won't, but it doesn't look good, and I don't want a donut right now.

 

You know why they don't get it? Because it's your journey, not theirs. When we start to change it festers up stuff in people - they are feeling some type away about themselves when they see you making a change for the better, but that's not your problem.

 

You see, having a support system is important to your success. Me, you, and the other ladies in the group - we get it, we understand it, and can talk these things out.
