I hope all is well in your neck of the woods. I'm doing pretty well.
I'm just dropping in to ask you when was the last time that you set a Strength or Performance goal?!
If it's been a hot minute, may I suggest setting one for yourself! You'll be glad you did!
If you have only ever set fat loss goals, it might be good for you to set a STRONG Goal.
Nothing wrong with the goal of fat loss but if you're always chasing that I'm willing to guess you might not be seeing the results that you desire and you might just be burnt out.🤔
I know I was. There was a time that I all did was chase a scale a number — the less food, the better and more cardio the better. Burnt out I'll tell ya, weaker too, I'll tell ya!🙅🏾♀️😩
I eventually got out of that cycle -thank GOD, and turned my efforts towards building my body up, getting stronger, and seeing what the only body that I'll ever have could do!
So...
Focus on what your body can do, what it can achieve, how it can perform!
10/10 you'll be better for it, your mindset about your body will be so much better too. Give it a try!
Here are some STRONG Badass goals you can achieve if you haven't already.
Set a date to accomplish it, but be flexible, and put the action steps in place to achieve it!
1. Get 10 push-ups!
2. Squat your bodyweight.
3. Get your first pull-up/chin-up unassisted!
4. Deadlift 2x your bodyweight.
5. Run a mile without stopping!
6. Get 50 Double Unders!
7. Achieve your first pistol squat.
8. Push a Heavy Ass Sled 2x your bodyweight.
9. Improve your Handstand!
10. Balance in the Crow Pose - me!!!
11. 500 Kettlebell Swings for time
