Hey, hey ! Happy Saturday!!
How are you today?! I hope you're doing well. I'm doing well, can't complain, I woke up this morning. I'm getting ready to start our trek back to Florida. I've been in the Northeast area for a couple of weeks.
So, I'm back with a Fresh Friday Five Favorites, lol, well, Saturday Favorites this week!
Friday Five Favorites are all about some of my favorite things, topics, posts, or items that I've come across or created over the week or so that you might find of interest as well. Also, you'll find a link to my latest blog post that I would love for you to check out. It's one of the common questions that I get asked on a regular - How much is too much cardio, or how much cardio should I
do?
So, let's dive in!
First up, is Hint Water.
I rediscovered Hint water last week when my good friends, Athena and Lauren hosted their first in-person event, and I had the honor of being one of the guest speakers! What an honor it was - I spoke on the Power of Lifting Things.
If you have never attended an in person event surrounded with like minded women who are open to learning, growing, and leveling-up you should. I can't even put it into words what's it like. It's powerful, it's empowering is a couple of the words that come to mind! These women showed up for themselves and are ready to take Action!
So, they had Hint Waters in the swag bags for the weekend, and I had a cherry one, and I loved it. I had tried the blueberry Hint flavored one before and didn't like it, but I gave the cherry flavored one a shot. The cherry flavored one got me back on board!
It's most likely a game of flavors - you'll like some, but not all of the flavors.
I'm game for anything that will help ya get more water in, and of course as long as it's tasty.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream:
I love this hand cream; It's fragrant free and free of parabens and harsh chemicals - if that matters to you. I love it because it's really hydrating. I hate being dry and ashy, lol!
Trader Joes Maple Chicken Breakfast Sausage:
Who doesn't love tasty sausages that aren't too high in fat, but still delicious?! Me! They're yummy! Hopefully you have a Trader Joe's close to you. I don't so I usually buy extra packages when I'm near one. If you don't have access to a Trader Joes, this is my other favorite turkey or chicken
sausage!
My Carbs Fuel Performance post. Carbs help a STRONG gal push and pull the heavy things. Check that post out here!
Lastly, I've been loving this Cedar's Tzatziki Cucumber Garlic Dip. It's so good!
The other day I put it on a wrap with some grilled chicken, arugula, onions, and topped it off with this dip. It was so satisfying and tasty. Wraps are one of my go-to meals - easy, convenient, and never gets old - there are so many variations you can make. All you need is a protein source, your favorite type of wrap, some veggies, a sprinkle of cheese, a condiment like the one here and boom you have a yummy satisfying
mea!
So, what are some of your favorite finds of late? Hit reply and let me know.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Thanks for reading! Keep me, Jeff, and the pups in your prayers as we travel back to Florida.
