Hey , Happy Friday!
Â
Popping in real quick with a sweet freebie before you head into the 3 day weekend that I just put together. I am so excited about it!
Â
I've created a Master Your Push-up guide! I am often asked how to improve push-ups. I love them, and I love helping women reach their 1st one from their toes, or to improve and perfect their form!
Â
So, a couple of weeks back, I did a FB Live on improving your push-up technique. You can check that out here, and then I put together a PDF that you can download that will give you tips and strategies for progressing/improving your push-up!
Â
Â
Now, , if you are not yet doing your push-ups from your toes, you will with some practice, time, and consistency. I just know it!
Â
It always comes back to the consistency piece, doesn't it? It's the name of the game for almost everything. Learning how to do a proper push-up is a skill that is built and developed over time.
Â
I remember when I couldn't do one - seriously not one, I was weak AF. I had the wide elbows, bobbin head, and the curved back going on when I first started. Over time, I got better, and I kept doing them - kept practicing. I got off the floor and regressed it to the incline position (hands elevated).
Â
Eventually, I got one, and that became, two, two became three, so on and so forth.
Â
My push-up game didn't happen overnight! It happened with practicing my push-ups more than once a week and getting stronger overall- focusing on building strength, making my muscles work with challenging weights overtime.
Â
So, all this to say - if you have been working on them, keep going, don't give up - don't have a negative attitude about it. Do the work!
Â
Train a push-up variation a few times a week. In my free Master Your Push-up download, I share several variations that you can include in your training to get you to more push-ups, improve your form, or even get you to the ground!
Â
That's that my STRONG friend! Go on ahead and grab your Master Your Push-up guide here! And, give yourself some grace as you practice your push-ups. They're hard, and you probably have to relearn the correct way/form for push-ups. So, don't be hard on yourself!
Â
Also, follow back up with me and let me know how things are going for you! Let me know what improvements you have made with your push-ups.
Â
Looking forward to hearing from you! Have a wonderful 3- day weekend!
