Hi
Happy Fri-yay!! I hope all is well in your neck of the woods. I wanted to take a moment and share some of my favorites, as of late. I love sharing/reviewing fitness and nutrition stuff as well as lifestyle stuff that may be of interest to you.
It's been a hot minute since I've done 5 Friday Favorites!
So, let's pop on in!
1. Applegate Naturals Chicken & Maple Breakfast Sausage:
These are so delicious. I discovered them a few months ago and fell in love, lol.😋 Just yesterday, I discovered that you can buy a bulk bag of them. Up until yesterday, I'd buy a box or two after I run out. So, I am thrilled about the big bag and the cost.
You can buy them at Walmart and Publix. I'm sure your local grocery store will carry them as well!
Lemme known if you try em and love them as much as I do!
2. I have fallen in love with a Massage Gun:
They are all the rage, as of late. You've probably seen them advertised all over Social Media. Before Massage Guns were a thing, I was using a car buffer, lol.
It's the same concept as the massage guns that are out now, but with the massage gun you can target an area of your muscles more than the car buffer can - it is more localized - focused. With the buffer you can only target large areas.
The massage guns have different attachments and it is percussive in nature - it hits/taps where as the buffer oscillates. You can also change the intensity and speed on the massage guns.
I was fortunate to get to try one for free, before committing to it from LifePro!
There are plenty on the market to check out that vary in the size, specs, and pricing.
3. Youtube TV!!
Where have you been all my life. The hubs and I have been looking for way to cut the cost of TV. Find some savings, if you will!
We don't watch a lot of TV, but enough of it to not want to get rid of it completely and have to wait to the end of the seasons of shows that we love to watch.
So, we went on a hunt for a better priced TV package.
We recently had Dish because it works great for RVers, you can turn it off and on based on travel and such. However, as of late we can't get it to work. The antenna hasn't been working great - it's been hit or miss due to tree coverage.
Top that with the cost of it and the hassle of getting on the phone to troubleshoot it was a pain.
We found YouTube TV. it's only $50 a month. It's hassle Free - Cancel anytime. We can get local channels and all the channels that we love! Their slogan is Cut the cord and save $700 a year! Sounds amazing to me! And it has been pretty amazing service! Oh, and there is a 14 day trial, so if you don't love it, you can deuce out!
4. My new Gratitude Journal:
It's so short and sweet. It helps me to kick off each day from a place of thankfulness and gratitude!
A gratitude practice will really shift your mindset and perspective on the good things that we have in life. It has really helped me focus on the good and celebrate my wins, no matter how small!
5. Reading more instead of scrolling!
What a game changer that has been. I love reading and noticed that I had been doing less and less. So, I've gotten real conscious about how much I've been scrolling - instead of scrolling, I read. Has it been perfect? No, but now I am aware. When I pick up my phone and start scrolling, I'm asking myself have I read today or how can I better spend this time.
I devoured my latest book by making this shift. I finished reading Big Little Lies, and now I plan to watch the show! The book as so good!!
What books are you reading these days?
Well, well, that's it for now. What are some of your favorite things these days? Hit reply and let me know!
Have a great weekend!
