I'm sitting here thinking about my overtraining days and my extremely clean eating days. I'm Team Carbs now btw, but there was a time when I wasn't - for a very long time as a matter of fact- an unhealthy time it was.
And, also where it has led me...
One, it has led me to the incredible work that I get to do with amazing women like you; I do not take it lightly. I get to help women crush the extreme things that they're doing with their health, nutrition, and fitness. I help them Live FREE from the extremes and create a way of doing things that is SIMPLE & SANE, so that it's sustainable, therefore allowing them to be
consistent.
, I used to train like a maniac. I thought that's what it took to get fit and get strong.
The gym was my life. It took over my life.
I trained in the morning for 3 hours and then back in the evening 6 days a week, and then I was running on the 7th day.
I was team No Days off - Team No Pain, no Gain.
I made it my life's mission after I bounced back from the excessiveness to coach women not to make the same mistakes that I have with fitness.
It wasn't always this simple or sane for me - it certainly wasn't sustainable. My dieting history went deep, as well.
From trying all the diet pills, doing Atkins, South Beach, cleanses, diets from magazines, Slim-Fast, starving myself - not eating, Clean Eating, working with extreme physique coaches, extreme exercise regimens - punishing workouts for what I ate and severe calorie reduction to make up for the supposed dietary indiscretions.
Cheat meals on the weekends, starting over every Monday, and then binging again on the weekends. So on and so forth, you get the picture, as I'm sure you can relate.
Is any of this sounding familiar?
It doesn't have to be that way!
Ask yourself….
What would it mean to you NOT to have to…
- Be in the gym training day end and day out with no progress to show for it.
- Guess at what to do in the gym. No more wandering around the gym piecing random exercises together.
- Be sore all the time! Soreness is not an effective way at all to measure your progress in the gym.
- Spend all your free time going for runs or in the gym for hours on end.
- Starve yourself or deprive yourself of the foods you enjoy.
- Drink 10 cups of coffee just to make it through the day because you are trying to suppress your appetite.
- Be scared to eat a cookie.
- Feel shame or guilt around what you're eating!
- Miss meals with your family because you don't have enough points
- Miserable!
What's in it for me...
- There will be no more wheel spinning!
- Enjoying what you are doing in the gym because you WILL actually see the Fruits of your Lifting without being in the gym for 2 hours or 6 days of the week!
- A training program that will allow you to have the competency of the basic lifting patterns. You will master them and you will feel accomplished!
- Strength and muscle - I just know you want to be STRONG AF and maybe even jacked!
- You'll gain strength and muscle through performing compound lifts with progressive overload (challenging yourself over time) as well as hypertrophy muscle-building work!
- Learn how to #LiftTheThings effectively and efficiently.
- A structured program that you can follow, see your progress! There will be no guessing, you'll know the why of what you're doing!
- Establishing consistent nutrition habits that will last a lifetime. When you see how simple it is to keep your nutrition going and that you're not off the wagon because you chose to eat the dessert and have a drink.
No more figuring it out by yourself! I got you, STRONG friend! I'll do the programming and you do the lifting and watch your stronger results start showing up!
