Happy Friday ! How are you today? I hope all is well!
I wanted to take a moment to talk about a thing or two around working on your body composition goals.
First, you do know that it's okay to want to drop some body fat. You can love yourself while still wanting to get fitter, leaner, stronger, etc. We can still work on our body goals and change our body composition; they are not mutually exclusive.
First and foremost - consistency. That’s the number one key driver to any success.
Second... This formula actually contributes to almost EVERY kind of success!

So, the magic of success lies in the BASICS!
The Basics will get you (at least) 80-90% of the results you are looking for:
- The quality & quantity of foods you eat - eating fruits and veggies, making sure your protein is in check.
- How much & what kind of movement you do every day - lifting the things, some type of daily activity outside of just your workouts.
- How much sleep you get - 7-9 hours.
- How much stress you're under - how well are you managing stress and recovering from your training.
They all add up to SUCCESS!

The best thing about all of this is this: every single one of the basics impacts the OTHER basics.
They work together to not only help you FEEL BETTER but also reach your goals.
For example...
When your nutrition is dialed in, you have more energy to lift the things, which helps boost your mood and relieve stress, which makes it easier to get a good night of sleep. Which helps balance important hormones that help you stay feeling full & satisfied, which makes it easier to keep your nutrition in check! And
around it goes!
Getting your basics in line helps you feel amazing, vibrant, energized, focused, refreshed, STRONG, to name a few.
In fact, if you're NOT feeling those things, it's a sign that at least one of your "basics" is out of whack.
And back to number one - Consistency - get the basics in on a consistent basis = SUCCESS!
