Currently in Colorado for about a week, then heading to Utah.
Anywho, I hope you're doing well. Let's pop on into today's email.
Let's talk about what you want to be able to do when you're 60, 70, 80, and beyond.
We are looking past aesthetics here, although those are undoubtedly nice. We want to look and feel good. We are talking about the feels part of the equation - feeling strong, being strong, having a great best of strength that we will need when we are 60, 70 years young, ya know?!
We know now that lifting the things has a plethora of benefits?! Yes, we humans do!
Even right here, right now, being STRONG applies to us TODAY!
When you feel STRONG, your energy is on point; you feel capable, empowered, and confident - your mood and emotional well-being are real good too.
Want to be able to do activities such as hiking, climbing, roller skating or rollerblading, playing tennis, riding your bike, gardening, etc.?
I hiked the Manitou Incline a couple of weeks ago, and throughout the hike, I noticed I was hiking it with several people, men, and women in their 60's and 70's.
The photo below doesn't quite capture the awe of this hike. Its 2000 elevation gain, 2,768 steps, and .88 miles - it seemed much longer that. We made it up in a hour. The record time is 16 minutes & 42 sec. Cray!
